Profile

Hi, I'm Shari Jane Jansen. I took up Doctor of Dental Medicine at Centro Escolar University, Mendiola, Manila. But I had my first job as a Customer Service Representative for a cable company in U.S. at SPi Global Inc., Jupiter. Currently, I am working as a SalesForce.com Data Specialist.

"Being a mom is not as easy as we thought."

I am a mother of two adorable boys, Akihiro and Yoshiro, and wife of a very supportive husband, Milius. We got married on March 14, 2011, that was 2 weeks before I gave birth to my eldest son. Aki is a preemie baby, born at the 8th month of my pregnancy (2011) while Yoshi is our miracle baby (2012). When I gave birth to Aki, he was very little weighing only 2.2 kg and was placed in an incubator. I named him after Akihiro Sato, a celebrity. As far as I can remember, Akihiro in Japanese means wise and fast learner. These all made us, my husband and I, decide to bless him with that name. Then after a year came our unexpected baby, Yoshiro. At first, I was very afraid to inform everyone that I am already pregnant for Yoshi even before Aki turns 1 year old. But I told myself that no matter what, I am bringing this baby to the world. He is indeed a blessing from God. By the way, we named him Yoshiro because my husband wants his name to be much like of Aki. And in Japanese, Yoshiro means righteous son, fortunate and happy individual.

I love baking and cooking. I could still remember my first try to bake a cup cake. I should say that it was perfect like a pro. That made me more interested in learning baking and cooking. I also know how to cook various dishes from everyday viands to party or fiesta dishes. But honestly, I'm a failure for Adobo, the most popular and easiest viand to cook as they say. I really don't know why I can't make it despite of hundreds of time trying it. Oh well.

I don’t like drinking alcoholic beverages like wines and beers. My only reason is, there are foods that I don’t eat because I don’t like how they taste. And those alcoholic drinks don’t even smell nice, so why would I try to drink them? They don’t even have healthful benefits (if there is, maybe a few which I would not care to find out too).

I used to play online games like BossRan and Freestyle Online Philippines. But I've been addicted to the latter. I used to be a member of "Team Mulawin", a group/team in FS Online Philippines but then was "pirated" and moved to "Team Sotros" (where I met my husband). I really love that game and there were only few girls who plays that. I have joined a lot of FS Online PH events held in different malls and at World Trade Center. I even went to different places just to be a part of their events and online battles. That's how addicted I've become, as a girl, to that particular online game. With PSP, I only love to play and spend hours on Harvest Moon. I am also fond of playing mobile games namely Hello Kitty Carnival, Hello Kitty Café, Candy Crush, Snoopy’s Street Fair, Township and Sweety Heaven.

As a hobby at home, I do crochet products such as table cloths, make-up/cellphone pouches, and a lot more. I first learned doing it during my high school days and then I did online research and watched various crochet tutorials. Then I tried selling those pre-made products to my friends and officemates. And it really pays off when people say that I did beautiful products.

As a collection, I love having various items in GREEN color. I have recently received a green bag from my friend as a Christmas gift. I have collected green pouches, with different designs/prints, for make-ups, pencil/pen, USB cables and earphones, cellphones, travel medicine, etc. At the office, my laptop mouse, sleeve and cooler are all in shades of green. My workstation's mug coaster is colored green too. At home, you can find all shades of green in our household items, from floor to curtains to sofa cover. I am really a fan of the color green because it's really refreshing in the eyes and it creates a positive mood for me.
